Case I - Early Treatment-Underbite


Problems:

  1. Bilateral Posterior Crossbite
  2. Lower Midline is shifted to the left
  3. Underbite due to a Protrusive Lower Jaw
  4. Openbite due to a Tongue Thrust

Treatment:

  1. Expander to correct the crossbite
  2. Protraction Facemask to correct Underbite
  3. Braces upper and lower front teeth
  4. Rubber bands to close the openbite

Case II - Class II Phase I & II Expansion and Herbst


Problems:

  1. Back bite is off a full tooth due to a deficient lower jaw
  2. Narrow V-Shaped Upper Arch
  3. Vertical Overbite
  4. Horizontal Overbite

Treatment:

Phase I

  1. Expander in the Upper Arch
  2. Herbst Appliance to correct the Overbite and deficient Lower Jaw
  3. Braces on the Upper & Lower Front teeth

Phase II

  1. Full Braces
  2. Rubber bands to Finalize the bite
