Case I – Class I Crowding with an Impacted Cuspid


Problems:

  1. Bilateral Crossbite in the posterior teeth
  2. Edge to Edge Anterior Bite
  3. Constricted V-Shaped Upper Arch
  4. Crowding in Both Arches
  5. Impacted Upper Left Permanent Cuspid and Retained Primary Tooth

Treatment:

  1. Expander in the Upper Arch
  2. Full Braces
  3. Surgical Exposure of the Impacted Cuspid
  4. Rubber Bands to bring the Impacted Cuspid Down and to Finalize the Bite

  2. Crowding in Both Arches
  3. Severe Wear on All the Teeth

Treatment:

  1. Full Braces
  2. Jaw Surgery to Bring Back the Lower Jaw into a Normal Position
  3. Rubber bands to Finalize the Bite

  3. Vertical Overbite Causing a "Gummy" Smile
  4. Crowding in the Upper Arch
  5. Lower Front tooth is mobile and has a Root Canal and Crown

Treatment:

  2. Extract the Crowned Lower Incisor
  3. Jaw Surgery to Bring the Lower Jaw Forward
  4. Rubber Bands to Finalize the Bite
